Bespoke decorative plasterwork ceiling in North Yorkshire, completed.
We have already featured progress reports of this decorative plaster-work job within 'Latest News' and are now proud to present some photos of our finished work to this fabulous property in North Yorkshire. Work began at the beginning of the year, firstly with the design process and then with the many separate components manufactured by hand here in the workshop.
The brief was to reinstate plaster-work period features that had been previously stripped out of this room, so our Craftsman Ben, took specific historical inspiration from a reference book; The Elements of Style' (An encyclopedia of Domestic Architectural Detail). He combined this information with his design skills and creativity to produce a beautiful ceiling design that fills the space wonderfully.
Since completion of the work in May, the area has been decorated and we were happy to be allowed to revisit the site for these 'finished' photos.
